As a seasoned cardiologist with over forty years of experience, I founded Goldberg Forensic Medical Evaluations in 2021 to apply what I have learned over the years to the important process of medical legal consulting. Throughout my career, I've honed attributes crucial to this field: thoroughness, thoughtfulness, analytical prowess, organization, and efficiency. Ethical integrity guides every aspect of my work, ensuring a principled approach to each case.

My decades-long dedication to cardiology equips me with invaluable expertise and insight. In my semi-retired status, I continue to be involved in patient care and to remain current in cardiology knowledge. I remain deeply committed to providing meticulous analysis and thoughtful guidance to clients navigating legal complexities. With a track record of integrity and excellence, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a principled approach to every case.

Beyond knowledge and experience, a physician should have compassion. I had the opportunity to found a humanitarian organization, Healing Hearts Northwest (HHNW) which performed complex cardiac surgery in Rwanda. This endeavor followed an exploratory trip of medical professionals to Rwanda in 2008, seeking to determine how we could improve the health care system. HHNW comprised a team of 40 health care professionals from the Northwest to not only perform surgery chiefly on young patients with Rheumatic Heart Disease and provide post operative care, but provided invaluable teaching to enable Rwandan physicians and nurses to acquire the skills to perform surgery and care for cardiac patients. Over the course of five years, approximately 90 patients underwent surgery and in the subsequent years, HHNW assisted in covering the costs of cardiology training for two physicians and cardiac nurses.

Subsequently, I have increased my experience in medical legal consulting, which I pursued episodically during my practice years, recognizing its potential to continue to help the community of patients and attorneys requiring assistance. I recognize the import of timely record review with annotated records that are collated and bookmarked for efficient use of clients’ time. In summary, a wealth of clinical experience, and increased involvement in medical-legal analysis has prepared me to have the skills to assist the legal community to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of a potential case.
